ah hell, who cares!!
so his truck is faster due to an LS1 swap...
if that's what he has, then that's what he has, if your truck isnt as fast, then boo hoo, work harder... however, a majority of people on this section have 99+ gmc/chevy trucks/suvs, with the 4.8/5.3/6.0 motors......therefore, i think it might be hard for this guy to "fit in" with the questions, experience, and advice we have for one another. Farmtruc, it's badass that you did that swap, and i give credit where credit is due, but you must understand these forums were created on a certain foundation and just because you come into it, dont expect for things to be changed just because of you. ok i'm done.

as you know , i am happy with the mutant list, check the posts you'll notice i'm not complaining about that, i just wanted to debate which trucks get on the list and which ones don't. the title is kind of general, that's all, and when someone looks at it, they wouldn't think twice about a pre '99 truck in there, or a ford, or a dodge. thanks for the changing the hybrid section to Mutant.
a little debating is good for you, if there was none, then this forum would half the size it is.

ultimately the line gets drawn wherever richard wants it. he runs this thing doesn't he? not trying to be a dick or anything but if you just have to be on the list, make your own list. i'd just be happy to be running what you are. believe me, if i was i wouldn't be complaining about being on my own seperate list by myself where lots of people will single me out and see my times.

Richard and I agree on this list and the format that it is in. We have choosen to keep it this way. As far as 99+ trucks changing motors and putting in LS1 or 422's and such, they will remain on the regular list. Simply because, the trucks were originally built with an LS1 base engine and a larger LS1 base engine is an upgrade. A "power adder" if you see it that way. A pre 99 GM truck or an S-10 , Ford, Dodge etc... requires a bit of conversion to make an LS1 base engine work correctly. I hope this clears things up a little. No that being said, I think the "Mutant List" stands out for everyone to see. It will let people see that it can be done and the numbers that can be gotten, rather than being buried in the big list.

Yea, I know that's this weekend, but Farmtruc asked who was comming on the 6th. I was wondering what's happening on the 6th. I gotta work this weekend otherwise I would go this weekend.
