Default i would like some answers please!..

ok i have a tr224 cam which is a 224/224 .563/.563 on 112 lsa, this is going in a 5.3, since the cam is brand new thunder will let me swap it out if i want, would a 224/224 with .615 lift be better of an overall cam or would the 219/230 .607/.609 117 lsa which is known as the cheatr cam, im shaving the heads and was wonderin which cam would be the best situation for a 5.3 with around 10.5 compression and work well with the 4.30 gears and a 3400 stall, i dont want to shift it at 7000 so i think the 224 with .615 lift is out. the only reason im thinkin about using a different cam is because the guy at thunder said the tr224 was old technology and they have better ones now, im sorry if this is confusing. thanks

yea i was like wow thats weird cause alot of ppl on pt run them, he recommended that cheatr cam but idk if my stall would blow past the power range, i mean i am stayin n/a and i kno split cams are good for spray and FI but the intake on my heads flow better than the exhaust so maybe i need something like that, idk

it may be old technology but it works!
use your 224 cam
Your truck should do very well with a 224 and your supporting mods
Sometimes i wonder about there advise
What kinda power you made with the 214/220? custom grind or the old man truck cam
