yea i like the cam, i just want more cam like i want that mean sound, i dont have a stall so its slightly a turd at certain rpms but freakin hauls at others its a good cam, u dont even need a tune to run it either...

I would keep the current cam since you have stock heads. It will also save you from going to dual valve springs and I doubt the gain would be much.

i've got dual valve springs and im shaving, porting, and a 3 angle valve job, i would figure it would make a little bit more with that set up, thanks though

whats the LSA on your cam?
is that thunders old man truck cam or a custom grind?

I have the old man cam in my 4.8. I haven't run it at track yet to see how much of a gain I picked up. I had a 3000 stall in mine until the tranny decided to let go so I put my stock converter back in mine for now until I get my other one cleaned out.
