Default Ideal A/F for na motor?

I logged my truck this afternoon and ATAP came up with 12.3:1 then tapered to about 10.9:1...Oh yeah my LTrims are about 2-5% positive too.

What's the ideal A/F for WOT?

First let me say that the A/F ratio reported by ATAP is not accurate. I THINK it is the commanded ratio set by the computer not the actual ratio. This has been talked about before in the Diagnostics forum.

I've heard from a tuner to shoot for 13:1 on a in vehicle wideband. Seems to be pretty good but, I almost feel like the truck ran better a little fatter. SOTP meter isn't calibrated that close though.

With a heavy truck, it may ping more under load at 13:1+, so I'd stick to 12.5:1 to 12.8:1.

BTW XLR8NSS- My innovative tech wideband seems to work pretty well.

Tex - How is the logging feature on that wb? I might sell my Techedge stuff and get one of those just for ease of use. The logging software for the TE SUCKS The Innovative plugs into the cig lighter also right?

Hahaha....Yes, I believe it has something to do with the COT feature to keep your cats from melting.
