I agree. I had a 96 cherokee with the 2.5 4cyl in high school with no cat and a big flowmaster my brother was gonna throw away. It was loud.
Ever since then ive liked quiet. Sold my turbo and put a stock catback on. Love it!!
If you want loud just run open headers LOL
I think its just hilarous when somebody has their crap stupid loud and thinks its the fastest thing since sliced bread. And gets embarressed by this quiet truck.
Open headers FTW!

My truck has had more exhaust setups than I can remember, current setup is Edelbrock shorties, 2.5" true duals, H pipe, dual magnaflows, both pipes exit behind the right rear tire. Sounds like a stock Corvette now after the mufflers broke in. Looks kinda crappy since I pieced the system together and installed in my driveway. Never decided on tips so I left it alone, still have an X pipe that will be installed on day.
The 05 RCSB had a Flowcrapper muffler that was on the truck when I got it, in two weeks ive put 1500 miles on the truck and it gets annoying so its coming off.
The Suburban has GMPP exhaust thats supposed to be for a Denali or Escalade, pretty quiet and just a tad louder than stock.

I know we're talking about fullsize trucks here but my Sonoma is pretty loud with its Spintechs, Actually want to switch the mufflers a 3rd time to the almost quietest mufflers Spintech has to offer.
1 3/4" Longtubes 3" true dual with xpipe and Spintech mufflers dumped behind rollpan.
Heres a vid of mine comparing the Prostreet version with the New sportsmans, Want to try their xl sportsmans next and add elec cutouts to my current manual ones.
