If it's to loud, you're to old

I must be too old also. I took the 3" in/out, 24" case Hooker Max Flow off last weekend and went back to the stock cat-back. I may go with an e-cutout later.
The Hooker resonated pretty badly from 1400-2000 rpm; it was worst at 1800, which is 62 mph and right where my daily commute speed is. At 72 mph it quieted completely. I even added a 15" glass pack in front to try to quiet it down; it helped a little but not nearly enough.

Ok guys I'm looking to quiet mine down some and if that makes me old so be it lol. I've got whats in my sig right now and I like the sound but I'm just looking for something quieter in the cab. I thought about maybe running some bullets in front or after the aerochamber's if that'd help. I'm not ruling out just buying new mufflers either. What are everyone's thoughts?

I installed a 3" in/out Thrush Super Turbo with a Magnaflow 3" replacement tail pile, $78 for the muffler and pipe, $25 for stainless band clamps. Rumble when engine is cold, quiets down when warmed up. During commuting (70-75mph) you can just barely hear it.
The same muffler with a 3" turn down dumped under the truck is pretty obnoxious lol since the tailpipe is clamped on I can switch it out in 10 min for weekend cruising.
