im looking for you opinions on future build
well, ive been reading a whole lot in here and the more i read it fuels my need to mod everything i buy. so my current ride, which will be getting the upgrade, is a 1998 silverado, 5.7 and short bed ext. cab. i love my truck. every one of my friends drives a ford and i get a lot of beef from them but i love my truck. now, i was thinking about super charger, then sts system, then procharger. prochargers are more expensive than my newest decision. twin turbo. i found a manufacturer that is doing exactly what i want but with bigger turbos. i was told if you get two 20mm turbos and put em on and so on its nice because less lag being small turbos. but for $4995 i get two water cooled ball bearing turbos and every nut bolt and pipe i need to bolt up to my block. and with a budget build stroker, budget meaning that motor will only pork out 305 horse. but after 24 psi it hits 820 hp and 751 tq.

now, i know my stock 4l60e will not like that power so i was thinking th400, and 12 bolt rear. i want to hear some suggestions. i noticed that most vehicles you are talking about are newer but im 19 and in college and plan on spending about 10k or so on this... over a period of maybe 2 or so years...
but what do you think? th400. and i know im going to have to play around with registration, or bite the bullet and go efi and yeah... so opinions would be greatly appreciated. its my first build. figure why not make it something fun. that and my buddys 95 stang with the 460 bbf needs a pounding. and my buddies 79 bronco with the 460 and 50 in. tires needs a beating from my lil silverado. hehe.
