Hey blue, I'm moving this to the GM Engine and Exhaust Performance section for you where you'll get more hits.

I thought the ev1/6 was in reference to the different injector clips!?!
I'm signing in for the info...hopefully!

Unhappy

im kinda a picture person, and after seeing no response's im trusting google with this one. i did a search of pictures of ev1, then the ev6, here are some pics...

the reason i ask this question was because i was installing a fast xfi system on a 355 sbc and noticed the injector body was different and im tryin to find the difference in all injector styles.

the EV1 is being shorter fatter. and the EV6 being more slender and taller.

so what does the LS based engines have, and can i get some pictures of the car injectors vs. the trucks?!?

EV6

EV1

I have ev1's on my truck, however I had to swap to the car style clips to make them work so I can tell you that trucks don't use the ev1's. Maybe they use ev6 style? Someone will chime in, just gotta keep bumping the thread.

When I swapped my injectors the connectors didn't look like the EV1's...may have been EV6's but I can't remember and I don't have the old injectors to compare to

The stock truck injector is a mini delphi connector.
