injector question 5.3 to 6.0
just installed 03 lq4 6.o in 02 tahoe.the intake was swapped with cable tbi, the 6.o fuel rails and injectors were installed, then the injector connectors are differant on the 6.0. so I installed fuel rails and injectors from 5.3. are the flow rates differant on the 5.3 ones compared to the 6.o injectors. the rails also look fatter on the 6.o engine. I,m getting a nelson tune this week for the engine. Should I buy diffrant injectors? I thought they were supposed to be the same? any help would be greatly appreciated. The swap was going smooth except the bell housing bolts / stud access. now the injectors might be a problem.

The injector will be the same from a 5.3 to a 6.0 (24lbs/hr), unless one of motors is flex fuel, which it sounds like the 6.0 might be. They have larger injector (33lbs/hr) to accommodate the higher fuel needs of E85 and different plugs on them. You should be fine with the 5.3 injectors on your new 6.0.
