Has the FPR on the side, the little plate that holds the cross over in with the O-ring..

so I'd call it pretty much the same length lol, I don't think 1/16" would make that much of a difference when compared to how far they need to move down into the intake on this manifold/fuel setup

you said nipple... Yah strange for sure.. Like the fuel rails are not correct, as now I can clearly see from the pic they are infact short.. I was going to say if it was a returnless set up I have a NEW intake-rails-injectors.. But its not

It is a returnless setup, the shop used a 1998 C5 vette regulator/filter at the tank to regulate the pressure to 58psi. Then they plugged off the return line @ the intake regulator and didn't connect vacuum to the regulator

Fuel pressure at the fuel rails is 58psi constant using the method they did

thanks for all the help so far mangled!

Are you serious.. That is hack job.. Tell that guy I have a NEW set up and will let it go cheap.. Not trying to boast a sale, but i certainly wouldn't want my chit hacked like that.

Whoa. That's a messed up way to design a fuel system.

What is the end result you are looking for? How do you want the fuel system to be set up when you're finished?

End result would be to return everything to how the engine was from factory as far as the intake/rails/injectors

Have you tried changing out the o rings? A buddy once used my injectors(2005 5.3) on his(2001 5.3) intake, and they didn't fit. He had to use his original o rings. My o rings were thicker than his if I remember correctly so they didn't want to seat on the intake.
