There are very good systems out there from speed shops. It might be easier to piece one together yourself. I run dual Bosch 420L's on my T/A, but have not messed with my 01 8.1 HD yet. Start with a bulkhead fitting in what looks like the lowest spot in your tank, I suggest #10 fittings, to a high flow filter with #10 fittings, to the pump of your choice, a 255L will be fine for slightly to moderately modified motors. The pump will probably have #8 fittings on it, that is fine. Run #8 fuel line to your fuel rails. You may need to step up to an aftermarket regulator in the return line after the rails. People will argue against prefiltering because of restriction issues, common sense says go with a high quality high flow one and no problems. Electrically, use the old pumps power wire to pic a relay with a larger power source wire for your new pump. Some pumps come with all the wiring. If not, there are kits out there for the wiring, they are a good choice. As far as your old intank pump, remove it and use the line out of the tank as a vent line for the tank. Remember, you may not be able to run the stock fuel line from the tank to the rails, it may not flow enough under WOT. I can't remember the brands, but there are some units that take the place of your stock setup in tank, they sounded pretty good from the reviews. Call some REAL Speed shops, a little research will net tons of info. Good luck.

that sounds like a lot of work to me. I'm hoping the kit i bought is as complete as the guy says it is. Supposedly it's a 30min job. We'll see.

Why would you replace your fuel lines? I think Parish is still using his stock lines and look at the power he is making!
