Input Needed: Building 243 Heads for High Revving Twin Turbo LR4 build
I'm going to be rebuilding my 243 heads to put on top of a LR4 4.8L block and was wondering if anyone here can give some ideas or recommendations on whether I should port them, what parts/brands I should buy, etc..
Should I port and polish them out before I put them back on? Will this drop the compression at all? The compression is already going to be pretty low.
What parts and brands should I purchase that can handle a high revving motor like the LR4?
A lot of guys on the GTO forum have told me to steer clear from patriot performance's valvetrain line as they seem to fail. They recommended I use PAC for what would have been my previous build, but since I'm going a completely different direction, those parts may not be the right ones anymore.
Thanks for any info, guys.

I'm not 100% on the revs, but I want to say def above 7k.
I'm going to start with the LS9 cam and see how it works. 211/230 .558/.552 122.5 LSA.
I think it's a good starter cam, despite it being a blower cam, because it is cheap, and could still work very well with turbos.
Boost. Well that is a good question. The motor will be around 8.xx-9.xx:1, but probably 9:1, so a lot of boost will be getting pumped through this motor. We will definitely be in the teens.

What ratio would I need. I'm a little ignorant on the head building.
It looks like on hinson the yella terra ul roller rockers also contain the lifters?
Is that correct?
Looks like they're on sale too... http://hinsonsupercars.com/p-549-yel...io-ls1ls2.aspx
What is the difference between adjustable and non-adjustable? It doesn't say on the site. What can I do with the adjustable ones?
