Installed the Calspeed 1 3/4" headers

Just wanted to say these are very nice headers and fit great. I have a 07 classic Z71 and didn't have a single issue. You must use band clamps (clearance around front driveshaft is tight) and drop the trans crossmember to install the Y pipe but that is it. Turn key was about 3 hours (with a run to the parts store for new spark plugs). I can get some pictures later tonight but for anyone wondering if they fit... The headers fit great on a 4x4!

Thats awesome. I'm curious to see how tight it is around the front driveshaft. Seems they can be hit or miss here...
On another note is the AWD transfer case at all different from the standard 4x4 transfer case? I am basically just curious if the SSS front driveshaft will have the same exact placement as a regular old 4x4.

What is the issue with the top pic? Is it touching the trans cooler lines? It is hard to see if there is clearance there..
I will try to get some pics tonight of the calspeed setup..

Yes they fit pretty well comparingly. Ive done 2 sets of cal speed's and 5 or so set's of pacesetters.
My only issues were... on my 02 gmc the #1 primary touched my frame. I put new motor and trans mounts in and it has a paper thin gap when hot.
I installed them on my buddys 06 and no issue there 1/4 inch. So maybe it was from my truck being jumped.... alot.
Both trucks though i used a 5lb slegd to clearance the tranny cross member where the drivers side pipe goes into the y. Stainless grows alot when hot.
Other the that the plug wire's dont touch! The o2's have plenty of room and the flanges seal with 2 broken exhaust bolts!!!!!

This is good to know that they clear! Me and a buddy were gonna put mine on this past Saturday, but his air compressor motor took a ****. (decent sized automotive business).. So we are gonna do them sometime soon. We aren't too good for hand tools, just makes the job much faster! What kind of difference did you feel/tell after the install? Did you retune yet?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I hate to say this but on my 06' Z71 there was a ton of "clearancing" around the drive shaft yoke and the Y-pipe to get them in there. Nice system but alot of work to install on my 4x4. The headers slid in great and the pass side didn't need any work. Do you have pics of the DS yoke to header and Y-pipe clearance?
