Installed Dynatechs, removed neg battery terminal, now no radio!
Like it says, installed dynatechs and removed negative battery terminal, and now no radio. Its says code on the radio face. When I bought the truck they didnt have the book for it so what do I have to do to get my radio back!!!

You may have one of very few trucks which the dealer has installed the radio's anti-thieft code.If you leave the battery dissconnected long enough the anti-thieft programming assumes the radio has been stolen,the dealer may have to give you the code.

turn on ignition with the engine off
press and hold radio preset buttons 2 and 3 for aprox 8 sec untill first 3 digits of the backup code are displayed on radio
write down code
press and hold am/fm button untill the last 3 digits are displayed on the radio
record the displayed code
CONTACT DELCO ELECTRONICS IN ORDER TO GIVE THEM THE BACKUP CODE INFORMATION AND OBTAIN UNLOCK CODE
take these codes to the dealear so they can call for you
HAPPY NEW YEAR
