You may have one of very few trucks which the dealer has installed the radio's anti-thieft code.If you leave the battery dissconnected long enough the anti-thieft programming assumes the radio has been stolen, the dealer may have to give you the code.

turn on ignition with the engine off
press and hold radio preset buttons 2 and 3 for aprox 8 sec untill first 3 digits of the backup code are displayed on radio
write down code
press and hold am/fm button untill the last 3 digits are displayed on the radio
record the displayed code
CONTACT DELCO ELECTRONICS IN ORDER TO GIVE THEM THE BACKUP CODE INFORMATION AND OBTAIN UNLOCK CODE

take these codes to the dealear so they can call for you

HAPPY NEW YEAR

there used to be a phone number you could call and give them those numbers to get the code. it was automated. might want to look for that if you dont want to wait till monday.
