Installed Dynomax catback on 99 5.7 L31 HOE
Went to Iggie's today and had it installed, a used catback from my friend CMNTMXR57...
Looks nice, has a nice sound.
I notice that I can now bark the tires off a stop light which I could never do before with the 3.08's and stock exhaust.
I'm tempted to run it again and see if it goes faster...

I had a Dynomax on the truck and liked it a lot. But when I got the headers I changed everything. But I did keep it and put it on my Dodge. I think you need to run it John. What do you have to loose? Are you still thinking about changing to a 373:1 ?

I am going to leave the 3.08's in for now, I want to run the truck again, and then do an airbox.
My raceweight is more like 5050.
What does ur truck weigh Fast4.8?

With me...5056# in full street trim. Bed cover, sub box, 70#each wheel and tire combo, etc... I need that pig avatar only w/o the wings, but draging a ball and chain. For more than one reason.

Blah blah blah.
I just want to be faster than 3/4 of what is out there... Like those pesky Dodge Entrepids and Benzo's during rush hour.

I'm glad you like it. It's a nice mellow rumble.
Too bad I had to turn my Tahoe in otherwise I'd still be enjoying it myself.
I also still have the Jet power module that I had on it if you're interested.
