how does that work the belt still goes around the water pump? i am confused describe the water pump to me a little. I am guessing that the part the belt goes around just spins freely?

does this retain the same as stock size belt, and the stock thermostat?

The water pump pulley is just a dummy pulley that spins freely, the electric pump is inside it, when the dummy pulley spins it cools the electric motor.


I used the stock belt, it works fine, even though the f body pulley is smaller.

the thermostat you will need is hypertech part # 1000 for a 160 stat, it is just an old sbc style stat. the stat goes into the upper radiator inlet on the wp rather than in the stock thermostat housing.

Very nice! I talked to someone that ordered a pump last week. He was going to try to install it on his 4.8.

It looks your going to be seeing quite a bit of horsepower from this weekend's mods

Very nice! I talked to someone that ordered a pump last week. He was going to try to install it on his 4.8.

It looks your going to be seeing quite a bit of horsepower from this weekend's mods


yes, it runs MUCH better! just need to buy a few more mods from you!


If anyone needs the f body pulley or a set of Ls1 fans I have both for sale. pulley $25 shipped fans $135 shipped
