the ls1/ls6 gaskets are made into the intake..just a rubber o-ring in the gasket

yep, same way the TB gasket (o-ring) is.

BTW Lance, why ya wanting to know???? Up to something are we?

Are you planning on just an intake swap or you gonna do a different cam, maybe heads at the same time? reason i ask, i'm thinking about just doing the intake swap. checking what gains are made. then bust out either the heads or cam afterwards and quantifying those gains.

lol frank, i'm just piecing all the parts togeter now so that when i get back in december, they'll all be ready for the install...
in other words, be ready to hit the track in january. (cool weather)

i'm going to leave the cam, change the intake, injectors, and add u/d pullies.
i thought about just milling the heads to have around 10.5:1 but i will leave them alone to see what the intake will do.
i'd like to port the TB also but i will have to read up on that since its a DBW.

GM has a new blue O ringed gasket for truck type. I only reuse red gaskets if very low milage.
