Default Intake for LQ4

Ok, I have an 06 lq4 thats going in my 2000 silverado and I need to make it DBC. Can I change just the tb or do I need the whole intake? I need the return type fuel rail so if I find the whole setup that would be fine. I had one bought from a member on here (00silvylq4) but 10 days after sending the money I have yet to see it and no replies to my messages. So I am on the look again.

So which part do you already have? Your 2000 tb will work on the 06 intake, and I think the fuel rails bolt up the same, you will need a bracket for the 06 intake for the TB cable, I have seen a few... you might have better luck finding a take-off intake from a 99-02 4.8/5.3/6.0, they are all the same.

I should have clarified I am going from a 4.3 to 6.0. So all my parts right now are from the 06 besides a harness from a 99 2wd 2500 because I'm putting in the 4l80 also.

i think you can use the 06 intake and just get the bracket. isnt the 06 tb a 4 bolt?

I'll have to look about it being 4 bolt I believe so. If so can I just use a dbc on my intake? Also does anyone have a complete dbc intake laying around including return type fuel rail?

The 06 is still a 3 bolt tb. The fuel rail is the same for the 2000 and 06 except for the return pipe. And you will need the cable bracket.

You sound like you are doing the same thing with your truck as i did with mine. I have a 2000 silverado that started life as a 4.3 w/4l60e it now has a 01 lq4 w/4l80e. And again I am sorry for the delay.
