Truck guys just havent figured it out yet. All the car guys know the FAST is the way to go. I had to save a long time for mine, but its well worth it!
You must have some magic pixie dust no one else has!
The design alone dictates that it gives up torque to gain at high RPM. Its a sheetmetal/tunnelram intake thats been cast to make it cheap. Ive seen a dyno day with one and it gave up 20-25lbft from 2500-4500. Then started recovering a bit, by 5500 or so it was even, and it started making more power at 6000+. from what I remember. You can play with A/F and timing all you want there was nothing we could do to recover torque from a short runner intake manifold.

Vic Jr. Slap on a 4150 nitrous plate and run all the nitrous you can stuff in your motor. A 4150 nitrous plate is far less expensive as a direct port for that FAST or any other intake. Plus your top end will be killer to 7k and above.

Not sure why nobody mentioned this but I would invest in better heads before getting a different intake. That intake money would be better spent on better heads that will gain you power everywhere. My opinion, good luck!

I'm still debating on which intake to get. But I will hve a set of tsp 5.3 heads. I'm thinking tbss or nnbs might be the way to go. Much cheaper than fast and shoul make a big enough gain over stock
