Default intake manifold question

i have to replace my intake manifold and i have another stock manifold. is there anything i can do to it before i put it on my truck for performance gains?

buy a better one dont replace, upgrade

Yea you can get a Fast 90 or something like that but you have to change some stuff around, the truck manifold isn't that bad unless you want to go over 600hp I suggest you leave it and spend the money on other parts.

600hp is not where the truck manifold stops....trust me...its was before that. if you are spinning over 6200ish then it would be a worth while mod. the truck intake tends to flatten out around 5800rpm and 350 n/a hp

wow.. well i already bought the origional under the impression that it was the better choice. i dont plan on going over 6200rpm or more than 500hp. ill upgrade when i catch a good 6.0 for sale hehe

yea that sounds like a good idea cause a fast 90 and the rails with injectors will cost over 1k.

in that ccase, good plan, save your money and go all out on your next build
