Default Intake manifold questions

would there be any gains by putting a LS1 or Ls6 intake manifold on my 4.8. would this make more hp and less tq? or should i just keep the stock on on there? thanks

I think the truck intake flows better for low and midrange power which is what we need. Ive always heard you will only see gains going to a fast intake up at the very top when you get around the 500 rw mark

More like 500rwhp @ 6800 RPM, if yo dont plan on spinning RPM's past 6500 anyway then theres no point in the switch
