Intake is off...what should I Do NOW?

Default Intake is off...what should I Do NOW?

Alright, I have the intake manifold off my 8.1L right now, but only till monday. What should I do while I have it off. Clean it I guess would be a good thing. What is Port and polish? I never knew exactly what that ment.

port and polish is basicly making the ports in the heads larger and polishing (cleaning up the sand marks or machine marks) the ports

OK, so could i just use like some sand paper and a dremel? or is a dremel too much? Can i REALLY screw anything up??

On your heads? NO. On your intake, it aint worth it. So no.

yea do not mess with a plastic intake, just clean it and put it back on. I assume the 8.1 is plastic like the small blocks.

And ALSO, what about a coat of paint on the outside...will that hurt anything?? Hold in Heat or something bad?

Damn. Are there other intakes available for it? The paxton looks nice for 01-03.
