Actually, I believe that the 04 has a vacuum port on the passenger side that the 01 doesn't have, as it has the vacuum port on the throttle body. The 04 is drive by wire and there is no room for the port on the throttle body due to the throttle blade motor. Also, the 04 may or may not have a provision for EGR, not sure on that one. At one point the non EGR intakes just had a little metal block off plate, but they may have deleted that somewhere along the line and just covered the hole with molded plastic. I'm not 100% sure about the EGR port though, just sorta remember it somehow...

Ok I am doin a 4.8 to 6.0 swap and I just got the motor and started to look at it and take some parts off the 6.0 for a ls6 cam swap and noticed the intake didn't have a spot for the egr. So I will put my 4.8 intake on the 6.0 should have any problems.. Thanks

Cool thanks. Have heard of anyone doing a 4.8 to 6.0 and putting a ls6 cam with a remote turbo?

Not that I'm aware of, I'm not to up on the turbo stuff...but I'm sure it's been done. Sounds like a nice set up...if you search this section and the forced induction section you may find some info

I just deleted my EGR put a plug in the hole on the intake and a plate on the Headers. Unless your in CA. why would you want to put exhaust gas into your intake. Oh and have it disabled in the tune.
