Default Iron LS1 ...

Getting closer to the end but still needing parts.

So im shopping for piston rings now,
Motors already bored out, got the stock pistons/rods. Plan on running fully P&P'd 862s, MS3 on a 113lsa, no more than a 150 shot.

What rings would i need for it? Tighter since im running spray? coate rings? OEM rings? im so confused

thanks guys

the more you spray the (loser) more gap u will want in your rings, i see guys here in town (jose, kyle, casey) spraying 150 all day long on OEM rings...when i put mine together i used the steel top ring, but its just whatever u want to do or feel safe with...some wanna push the limit more than others.

Yep decided on the ol MS3... its makes power on the LS1's plus i know several people who have it in their engines.

Aftermarket rings are almost cheaper than OEM rings. I had my buddy at a local dealership price me Rings, Cam bearings, and rod bearings and it was 615 plus tax at his cost... fml
checking online i can get aftermarket for about 350.

Oh and its "looser" for both of you...
