that's interesting....there are tons of guys doing insane things to these alum heads and abusing the **** out of them with insane nitrous and boost applications and not worping them. i honestly don't see that there would be a difference between either. it's cool though, i know how you feel with the money thing. to each his own. i say go for it and get some new numbers./

If you decide to look for aluminum heads ... I have a pair sitting on the floor next to me that came off of a 5.3. They will need some work because I made a failed attampet at porting them myself. I didn't get started really, just got the bremel out and realised how much of a bitch it would be and stopped. I'd be willing to get them out of here cheap if you were interested.

I still think aluminum would be better for you. They dissapate heat a lot better than iron heads do. That means the cooloing system would work a little better.

2 bills and I'll meet ya in the middle for pickup?

I wanna be straight up though ... one of the ports will need some work. I started grinding on the exhaust port to do some port matching and didn't quite get there. You will either need to have them port matched or get it welded up.
