Just finished my lq9 swap but having problems...help!!

Injectors and all sensors are the same. The TUNE is your problem.

if u have a 4l65 u r going to need the ecm to control that trans anyway. now is the ecm for the lq9 a drive by wire and the 5.3 a drive by cable? is that why u arent using the6.0 ecm? im confused why u arent using it?

u guys think i should change the 5.3 ecm to the 6.0 ecm and see what it does just to make sure i dont have any other issues before i send the ecm out for a tune??

when u say drive by wire and drive by cable u mean the throttle body right? either cable or electronically?

the intake fron the lq9 has a electronically controlled throttle body and my yukon also has an electronically controlled throttle body but i didnt use the intake off the lq9 i used the one off my 5.3

Go take your stock pcm and have them put a 6.0 tune over your 5.3 tune. Then once the truck is running take it to them strap it to a dyno and let them tweak it to get it perfect.

I don't have a clue what your pcm from 6.0 is out of but you can't just swap them around. All kinds of factors service numbers between pcm's and years and software installed all make a difference.

i think it could cause i have had it for over a year now when i converted from 2wd to awd and not i went from 5.3 to 6.0 but im not engine savvy more fabrication prone

im gonna swap the computers tomorrow and see what difference is...i know i need a tune and will get one but i wanna trouble shoot my swap and make sure i didnt screw anything up
