I think it's kind of wierd that you have more HP than TQ after your mods, in stock for form the engine has more TQ than HP. Strikes me as kind of odd, any reason?

here what I can remember as of today.....
2001 Chevrolet Silverado Stepside, 294ci (4.8L) 4L65E Century Racing Automatic Transmission, 3.73 Gear, with Eaton Positrac. LS1-Edit, LS1 fans, Vigilante 2800 stall, TransGo HD2 Shift Kit, w/ Billit Servo, Edelbrock Headers, w/ true dual 2-1/2" exuast, w/ x-pipe, and 2 chamber Flows, 285-60-16 Goodyear Eagle GTII, Ram Air, K&N Air Filter w/ True Flow air intake, Comp Cams 1.85 ratio Rocker Arms, Bocsh Platinum 4 spark plugs, White Face Guages w/ Custom Autometer trans temp gauge, 2/3 Belltech Drop

well when we dynoed my 4.8 with the mods in my sig it was 276 hp and 272 tq so the 4.8 is not a strong tq engine im just wondering what my new truck is going to dyno at lol later, kevin

Oh damn I didnt realize that the 01's had less Hp that the 03's man I learn somehting new everyday thanks for pointing that out to me! Im pretty sure I knew that the 01's werent as strong as the 03's stock Im almost positive! The reason I was sayintg is because I thought the mods that he had would generate more HP than they did! See were Im coming from know!!!! Smartass! LOL

249.7 hp and 256.0 ftlbs with UPD and HPP3 on 93 octane. Looks like u might be losing some power thru that converter or tranny.

Yeah the 4.10's arent on yet but they will be in a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I dynoed it was like 92 degrees and humidity like 60% or whatever it is here in LA really humid though! What kind of difference do think I would see in say 50 degree weather???
