Just got my Wait4Me Tune in!!

it was fine until I got a few more mods done... IMO, once you go past headers, intake, fans, and simple bolt ons, its out of his realm of capability... my cam and nitrous setup is more than he can do accurately...
-besides that, he's very impatient with customers on the phone (heard from sevral ppl) and I have requested 3 times he fix my speedometer... very simple thing to do and its still off, maybe even worse now.

i know this is my first post...but i came in here looking for info on Wait4Me. me and my buddy put a 6.0/4l80e in his 2000 GMC sierra 2wd std cab short bed truck. truck started with a 4.8/4l60e, JBA headers, K&N intake, LS6 heads, GM HOT cam, and a hypertech.
well we put the motor in, repinned what needed repinned in the computer, and the truck ran with the 4.8 computer...just not up to par...he got ahold of this Wait4Me performance, and had him tune a computer for the 6.0...with all the same mods, heads, cam, intake etc. now the truck runs like crap sometimes but other times its fine, the tranny will not downshift at all, coming up to a light it will stay in the last gear it was in, you have to manually downshift it and upshift it or it will be in OD before 30mph. he has contacted Wait4Me and he is very rude and short on the phone, supposed to send another computer out, saying there are several different gear ratios the trannys could of had, well its been almost 2 months, wont return phone calls, or hes always gone. We will not be going back to him again. we have talked to a local guy that is a HPtuners Tech and he said that all sounds like its in the tune.
on a side note...the truck does run ALOT better than the 4.8 ever thought about...he put it on a 01 GT mustang...pulled him by alot and will not hesitate to boil the 22s through 2nd

If you just want a better gas mileage tune and never plan to retune I'd go with them, but otherwise don't bother. I really liked my tune, but when I asked him if I could send in a log file and have him send me an updated tune he never responded.

welcme durty...
most people's advice will be to find a good tuner locally to do a live tune for you... it may cost a little more but you'll be happier and can work with them a little better.
