Default Just had my richmond 3.90 gears installed this morning

It was finished in only 2 hours and holyshit does it make a difference compared to the 3.42's it had before.The takeoff is so much better.Just thought I would share it with yalls guys

Did you get the trans reset to the new gear ratio too?

Lyndon at Westers Garage is sendin me another PCM programmed with the 3.90's,it should be here sometime in the middle of next week.

Ah okay nice. You gotta get some roller rockers next or something. I know you do have some miles so... hell do a headswap with some ported Vortec's and a mild 214/220 cam with some rockers! You'll have a nice new topend then.

Yeah it just rolled 176,000miles yesturday,but it runs so damn good and burns no oil and the compression is great.I am acually afraid to open it up right now cause I feel like I will be opening a can of worms and have problems with this many miles.One day when I get a new engine for it, it will have a mild cam and maybe even a shot of NOS.That would be awesome I got the gears off of my buddy who is a GM tech at Mossy nissan and he installed them for only around 50.00.So I ended up spending only 220.00 total for these gears though.I think I got a great deal.
