it was mounted exactly where the stock SSS muffler was, it was basically the exact same length just thinner than the stocker. I even used the stock rear exit. It seems to drone the most when your just trying to give it light gas to accelerate. Seems like there is a point where the pedal has to be for it to happen. Highway and stuff its fine for the most part.

I really dont notice much of a drone at all. I have been trying to get it to drone but cant. I am glad. The exhaust is really agressive sounding, especially at WOT. Most likely too loud for many people. But I like it.

Cats and Tips out the right rear. If I had turndowns it would be very loud, I started it with just the mufflers on without the exhaust from the mufflers back. Too loud in the cab. Without cats it would be extremely loud.

I should put my flows back on great sound with L/T, no cats and the 40's series. by the way mags were th glasspack shaped ones that omes with the lightning/cobra kits probably why they sound like crap I took something off a friends ford try to put it on a real truck. What kind of tips are you running with your HOOKERS.

Two rectangular tips that exit out the right rear side.

Yeah i'm about to get some aerochambers put on w/no cats and turndowns, i kinda like it loud, but i'm gonna have the mufflers placed all the way at the back as far as they can tucked up under everything, that ways it's not AS loud, but still loud enough

It would be a very wise decision to try and put the muffler as far to the rear of the truck as possible if you're gonna run without cats and do a turndown. I had my aerochambers as turndowns for one day, thats all I could stand, the interior drone was horrible

I dont know how they would sound on a 4.8 but I do know that the 6.0 is considerably louder. At least it is alot louder then my old 5.3 with the same exhaust setup. muffler wise
