I just installed mine with a friend and we got the headers on in an hour. Now I have a 2001 3500 Crew Cab 6.0L 4x4 Dually and things will be different for you. The ORY pipe did not work. Lucky for me my buddy can fab anything and he made me a mid pipe. We kept the cats and swapped out the stock muffler for a magnaflow. We did have to shave a little off the ear of the 4L80E because the pacesetter was right on it on the passenger side.. As for the sound it sounds like a modified truck. That is all I will say.

Get some Accuseal exhaust clamps, don't use the U-bolt ones that come with the kit or you will never get the headers and ORY pipe apart agine. Also don't use the gaskets that come with the headers just reuse your factory one's.
These are the clamps I'm talking about.

I just had some flanges welded on mine today. The ORY-header connection leaked like a biatch after we took it apart for the first time.
Exhaust leaks wreak havoc on the 02 sensors giving u a false lean signal, making it dump fuel to the side the leak is on.
