Default question about my corsa cat-back

i just put my corsa side exit cat-back on today on my 07 sirerra classic ext cab. after installing it i noticed that the tips hang a little lowere then i thought they would. it's about 4" or so from the fender. i looked at some pics of this exhaust and i thought it would hug up a little closer to the fender. is ther anyway i can raise the tip? i don't have any pics yet but i'll get some.

You'll have to mess with that rearmost hanger...they all hang low.

I had to mess with mine 3 times before I had it up to where I wanted it. I got about an inch between the fender and top of the tip.

Well, it really shouldn't be that low. I've also got about an inch or so between the fender. I'm sure if you move it around and re-adjust the way it sits on the hanger that should help.

so should just go out and get some shorter rubber insulators or mess with the hangers themselves?

No. Loosen the rear most section of pipe from the muffler. Push up on the bottom of the tip or rotate the pipe from under the truck watching your tip. Then tighten the clamp. Should get it where it needs to be.
