I have a 2000 Silv. with a 5.3 and these mods,
1. 4.10 gears, detriot locker
2. 3.5in Flomaster Exhuast
3. Hypertech Programer
4. 2-14in Hayden ele. fans
5. seperate air fuel management
6. no cats, have simulators plugged in
7. custom intake
8. poweraid TB spacer
9. cleaned up TB and Intake manifold
My 1/8 mile times seem to stay @ 9.06-9.2, which I believe is probibly high 13s to low 14s in the 1/4. My truck was dyno tuned at Speed Craft to be sure everything was working together. Once the air fuel was set right it pulled 323rwhp and 387 rwtq. Not bad for no NOS,YET

Anouther thing that would help you right away would be to throw away the jet pcm. THEY SUCK!
I had one before the hypertech, It doesnt give you any control over tuning. It doesnt even get rid of the top speed limiter. And a 160 degree thermostat wont work with jet. the service engine soon light comes on.They only work with stock thermostats or 180 degree thermos.

I'm getting ready to take my truck to SpeedCraft to have them dyno it.

Welcome to the board Snake Eater! We'll have to get together and run down to Gainesville sometime!

Really? I haven't had any problems using the 160* thermostat w/ the Jet Chip. I felt a good increase with the Jet 2 years ago when I had bought it. That was even in the summer time. I think it is a good product. But, I agree that it sucks that it won't take the top-speed limiter off.
I will probably be getting either Ed Wright tuning or a diablo programmer after I get my cam in, so I can raise my rev limiter and shift points.

I agree, I have similar mods and only pull 280/304 on the dyno on motor. The hp is high but the tq is out the roof.
And what is this "seperate air fuel management"? Do you have a fast computer or something?
