Theres no set value thats the best. Anywhere from -1 to -15 would probably be ideal.

Get you lterms between 0 and -4 then start tunning you pe mode. It is having to compensate a good bit with the trims you are running now.

When I tuned my ltrims with the IFR, to get WOT to 0, LTRIMS were at -10 to -12 at some higher throttle positions, and 0 to -5 at idle and low throttle positions. . Is there another thing to tune to bring them down some without going positive at WOT?

Also, does it really matter that your computer has to adjust pulsewidth 10-15 percent at cruise speeds?

my .02 is it doesn't matter if you are at -12. if you are at -5 then there is more room for adjustment if needed though.

it seems that with bigger injectors the ltrims vary more thru the diferent ltrim cells, i think the reason is the lack of injector offset adjustments but that is the beauty of obd2, it takes care of that stuff for you, it may not be the right way to do it but it works fine.

i would also like to know if there are any problems with ltrims that are a little to far negative?

Well if you tuned you ltrims with the IFR table to get it that rich at cruise, it will be way rich when you pe mulitplier jumps if you havent compensated that already.
I am still tring to figure out the best way to set ltrims, by ifr or maf tables. There seems to be a lot of different opinions on the tunning boards about this.

the whole idea is to get your WOT ltrims at 0 and THEN work on your WOT mixture, if your not going to work on your WOT mixture then there wouldn't be much reason for tuning at all.
