Default L92 cam help

Put in a version 1 cam from mast motorsports. I am having an internal noise from 2800-3200 rpm. Took everything apart to double check and it is fine. lift is around .590 and the valve springs are rated to .650 lift. No evidence of the rockers hitting the valve covers. Noise only occurs in that certain rpm range. Any ideas?

whatever happened to this?? Did you install a phaser kit with the cam? Mast told me that the kit would come with a phaser kit, so this might be an idea
