It's setup for it but it just doesn't use it. No I not sure if the parts are their internally or if the wires are just missing and the PCM tuned for it.

Is that what a salesman said because most of them don't even know what AFM, did you drive it, or what was on the window sticker? How do you know?

If it's like the new trucks with AFM they actually tell you in the drivers info display that it's in V4 mode as well.

All the 07's I looked at last month didn't have AFM. They said they were waiting on the 08 model year. Maybe something has changed. From what I was told by a GM mech buddy everything was there for the AFM IE lifters and harness, but the tuning wasn't, but he could be wrong. Since he never has torn one apart.

Got an more information. And if it has it whats the new mileage ratings with the 6l80E and AFM?

Fuel Economy for an 2007
EPA estimated 13 mpg city, 19 mpg highway (AWD)
EPA estimated 13 mpg city, 20 mpg highway (2WD)

Well they will, should have it in 08 anyway.

The GMC Serria Denali is the only truck to have the L92.
The Vortec-max has the L76 6.0L with L92 heads and intake. Maybe the an SS will have it in 08! I am waiting for the 6l80E in the trucks.
