The 05 silverado has an eight wire connector. The new trucks have six wire connector, you need a speartech adapter harness and an 02 escalade throttle control module to make the new 90 mm throttle body work.

That was the old way to do it. It will only open 80-85%.

Frm what ive read from the link, and researching around, with this adapter harness, it will indeed work with your truck TB
