Default l92 top end swap write up

WRITE UP STARTS AT POST #13

I did a seach and have tons of info on the l92 head but how much better does it flow then the stock lq4 head? Ill be doing the top end transformation in a couple weeks and just want to know how well my $1500 is being spent.

I know all that is involved in the swap, for $1500 I got tb,intake,rails,injectors, (full)heads,and gaskets. Just looking for the flow increse from lq4 to l92. I know they are better heads but how much better? As far as I have searched I have not seen this comparison made.

car craft or GM high tech did a write up about it . . . .

. . there was a guy on here that did the swap, joshluther or something

Does anyone have the the flow chart for stock lq4 heads? Thanks for the link tootall cool vids but not what Im looking for.

Intake is around 260ish @.500for bare intake
278 @.600

and you will need a custom cam...good luck

the L92s flow much better... PM richard@wcch and ask him for more info I'm almost sure he would have what your looking for.

the heads flow much better but you need to do research on what cam to use? they are doing well with smaller duration cams.
