lakewood traction bars, need help

Default lakewood traction bars, need help

ok theres that little rubber **** that goes on the end. how do u make that stay in the hole?

It should be threaded with a nut to tighten it on, at least i think so. I havent installed my set on my 03 sierra, since I need longer u bolts first, but I am pretty sure thats all you need.

What year is your truck? Did you have to get longer u bolts? If so what length are they? Are they shaped different than the ones supplied with the lakewoods?

the u-bolts need to be atleast an inch and a half longer. i cant find the right ones at the hardware store. i guess im gonna have to get some long ones and just cut em down.
