Default latest gtech runs and some py3400e stall and shift extension info

got some stuff to report but i will just toss this out right off the bat, remember it is a gtech and about 30deg out.

i am prety excited about those numbers. this is thru cats and full 4.8 single exhaust. you can see the funny 1-2shift on there but the good thing is it looks about the same at all power levels, if it was actualy a sliping tranny i think it would get worse with more power.

you can also see the shift extension and stall speed of that yank3400e, i am kind of suprized it stalls that high, i thought it would hold closer to the rated stall speed with the nitrous.

right now i am seeing right at 12-1a/f ratio NA and with that 125shot i am at 11-1 for a sec and then 10-1 for most of the run. on the nitrous runs i am seeing a substancial lean spike, aproximately 1 sec long, i also see 8deg of KR right out of the hole that tapers down to nothing by the end of the run. i plan on speeding up my kr recovery and leaning out that 125shot.

so far the fuel presure is holding steady, if rips out of the hole prety good right now and i have over spent so i dont really want to blow it up. i will probably check my injectors and see if i can hit it with a 2nd stage dry a little out of the hole(i have all the parts), i have an inline i can put in but if the injectors are done then i can't do it right now.

i had a pasenger and a gate too. so dump the pasenger, lean it out a little, get rid of the KR out of the hole or make it recover faster. hook up a dry set up and put another 25+shot to it, hmm, i see some 11sec gtech times very soon here.

You sure you only have the 125 shot jets in there.

That thing is running damn good, better than I thought for sure.

Nice job! Whats causing the lean spike? Any Idea?

Man, that 1-2 shift looks like it drags on forever.

Also, what are your plans for exhaust? How about those FLP longtubes that come with cats and a Y-pipe that bolt right up to your stock exhaust.

Then weld dual cutouts in right before the cats.

just a lowly 125shot and it is way rich. i wish i knew what was causing the lean spike, i would guess the nitrous is geting to the motor faster than the fuel, thats not normal is it? i am used to running smaller shots like a 75 and it had a lean spike also but just a fraction of a second, with the 125shot it is close to a full second.

if i step up to a 2 stage i am looking at 2 smaller shots, right now i am seeing wheel spin out of the hole so i figure more like a 100shot to start and then about 1-2sec later hit it with another 75.

i plan on haveing a turbo set up some day so i dont want to spend alot of cash on headers, thinking keeping the manifolds for now, put some electric cut outs in place of the cats. i will be able to reuse the cut outs with the turbo set up.
