Very true statement here, I've tested it both ways numerous times at the track on my personal truck and have actually had slower 60's when brake stalling it up to the converter.

x3 Brake stalling doesn't work for quick off the line launches. I usually do a quick snap to 1/4 throttle (my pedal is pretty touchy with no tq managment). I usually get a little spin and then start stiffly rolling into full throttle. If I snap to WOT i'll spin twice as long.
