Tried the intake with a 90mm Edlebrock. Still ran bad, and the ******* intake was leaking. I have literally had 3 of these intakes, and has been off and on the truck probably...8 or 9 times.

Final straw, I removed the intake an Literally Pissed on it, photgraphic evidence is available!

What a Piece of ****. If you cna manage to get a decent one that doesnt leak, Im sure it would work ok on a truck with a small cam. With my setup tho, Its untuneable. Ran like a raped ape, but idle was trash. to much flaring.

Side note, I have a NNBS intake and edelbrock TB to go on, Will switch it out later when I can. I want to enjoy the truck and drive it. I'm moving in a month, and have a newborn coming sept 5th, I wanna drive it before I have no time too!

I'd be interested to see you pissing on the intake. That is pretty funny man. If you take a look at this section of the forum, every other thread is about the LSXRT. You would think Comp would notice that it is a piece of ****.

Yah you would think that, but all my communications with them they were "shocked" I was having issue with it. The LSx car intakes work great. Did one on my buddies ls2 CtsV and works flawless. Easy to tune no issues using Blackbear.

I dont know how your truck drives. Your opinion of smooth running may be much different then mine. I own a repair shop, and peoples idea of smooth, quiet, soft, hard are all different.

My cam has a 111 LSA, probably the biggest difference that your truck does not have.

As i stated, I removed it the second time because it had another base leak. Simply the final straw.

Hilarious pictures!

Very sorry for your troubles man, sometimes the truck just has its own "personality" that needs to be accounted for.

This thread had me worried about my recent decision to order an LSXRT, however Tony M and Patrick G have both assured me that they have done many of them without issues. Patrick G's advice was to use the NW 92mm TB for best tunability and driveability.

I'll update you on how it works out.

Best of luck
