How would you mess up a formed composite manifold in shipping to make the ports sit uneven on the heads? I mean I think you would notice if it was damaged physically and to cause that it would have to be a mess. Unless of course you managed to heat it and twist it. It just wasn't formed correctly in the mold by the sounds of it, or the final machining ( if they even do any) wasn't done. It's kind of important to have your port face straight and apparently FAST forgot about that one on 2 seperate intakes in this instance.

Just sounds like a really poorly made overpriced POS.

Hopefully FAST is taking responsibility and at least refunding the OP for these messes.

What's the verdict on this one? How's COMP treating you?

it seems like the only products you can trust from comp here lately are their cams and their pushrods.

I know maybe a yr or so ago they also had a bad batch of hardened blanks or something similar and the facing was grooving/chipping and coming off. That was one of a few reasons why i decided to not get a comp ground cam..
Just add it to the list of comps great quality record..

I've seen a few Comp cams with flat lobes, but I think that all of them were using Patriot Gold springs...maybe a spring issue or a bad combo of parts

I haven't heard of any of their pushrod failures...although I may just measure my Comp pushrod length checker to make sure that it's made right!
