leaking valve cover spacer

Default leaking valve cover spacer

no matter what i do the 1/2" spacers i bought leak like a mother ******. i hate them. i used permatex and it didnt change anything. so i bought taller 1 piece valve covers and they hit my rockers. im at a loss as to what to do other then go back to stock rockers and say to hell with it. any suggestions?

in my opinion i will give you mine just to watch you get pissed off and thank me for saving you 150 bucks. they are garbage

Are these spacers just flat pieces of aluminum?

If they are and are warped, you could get a piece of glass and secure some wet dry sandpaper on it and lap them flat.

If not...like others said...lots of RTV.

they are spacers. i am going to have to coat them in rtv i guess.

I also bought 1 piece tall valve covers and my rockers hit too

i'll take them if you're serious I'll weld those ******* to my valve covers.

so they only leak between the spacer and the valve cover and not the spacer and the head?
