leaking valve cover spacer

top side of the valve cover where the aluminum baffle is held in.

what brand do you have? i was thinking about grinding mine. i pulled mine off but i dont see any marks from where they were hitting. i think im going to reinstall them and run the engine for a few min until they show me where they are hitting.

my engine has run a total of 45 seconds total and there is no missing where they were hitting. some people get away with the OEM covers and some dont. i'm running aftermarket casting heads which may be one of the contributors to the rockers hitting so hard. mine is actually picking up the valve covers when running.

the weird thing is that the prc valve covers are taller then the stock set with the spacers. almost a full 1/2" taller.

i found where they are rubbing on the rockers. on the top of the head near the intake. i got a round file on the valve cover and clearanced it a **** hair and walla no noise. so pm me your zip and i will give you a shipping quote on the spacers. and paypal me the shipping costs and they are yours.

you da man!!! Thanks. i will send them to my sister's machine shop (not hers but she is the executive assistant) and get them checked and possibly welded to my valve covers.
