I see you have head gaskets are you planning to pull the heads? If so I'd have a good shop clean the heads up do a good 3 angle valve job, install your valvesprings to the correct height and check for coil bind and warpage. Those should be 317 castings with the same porting as LS6 heads.Don't reuse the head bolts whatever you do if you take the heads off.

Get a new tb converter. DONT get a TCI mine was a POS I killed it in 6 months with my driving style. Others have ahd better luck but me personally I will never own another TCI. If you go with an aftermarket get a Fuddle they are SOOOO muich stronger than any of the others and he stands behind his product better than anyone. Give John a call tell him Cody sent you he is very helpful and knows his ****. He is even helping me figure out what i wrong with the converter with my dads truck and its not even his verter but is still willing to help. How do you like that for customer service

The guys at Tech seem to be very happy with their Fuddle converters. He has a truck line with anti-ballooning plates and billet covers...I talked with John on the phone and he seems like a great guy. Prices are great, too. Might still be having a sale as well.
