I THINK you will have a problem with the way your water pump flows from the looks of the belt....I am all screwed up just looking at it

Nope water pump turns the same way either way (oppsite the crank)

Actually right now the belt is laying on the ground. That's still the 5.3 in the truck. Gotta drop in the pushrods and rocker tomorrow and then pull the 5.3 and accessory swap. WEEEEEE

The big difference that I can see is that there is a lot more wrap on the P/S pump pulley. That is where your screech is likely from. The tensioner does not need much wrap and may work better with less.

Glad you asked...
Today we got the 5.3 out and swapped the accessories over to the 6.0. Broke an exhaust manifold bolt, so those are still off. Got the 6.0 all done. Oil pan cleaned and replaced filter, pinned the crank, installed the push rods/rockers etc. All ready to go. See the pics, #7 Piston had issues.

Got the 5.3 out.....Man there's a lot of crap to unhook....

#7 Cylinder was the culprit......

The cylinder wall was still clean.....

Temporarily installed a VTECH but it sucked so I pulled it back out....

Best part was after we pulled the engine we went to PUSH the truck back in the stall, I opened the door, pulled the E-brake and the fat bitch started to roll backwards faster than the 3 of us could push it forwards and the drivers door caught the garage door rail Sweet huh? Guess I'm stopping at the body shop after the build....(insert mad smiley here)

Be back on it tomorrow. Doubt it will be done by the end of the day though....

OK, you win. You said $10 so I'll send you $10 but you have to pay shipping. Shipping and handling will be $20. Do you need my PayPal address?
