Lets talk HEADERS
I may pass on a stall verter for now since im iffy on slapping one in a work truck(to many miles daily).
What are the best, somewhat good, and worst headers out there. Prices and hp gains also please
If you get long tubes, i take you have to buy the new y pipe and etc to match up?
I would kinda like to go stainless since I dont want them rusting off the truck in 1 year
power vs price is my main concern

I liked my TOGS except the collector flanges
If I remember right I gained 2-3 tenths in the 1/8th
with togs and replacing the flowmaster with magnaflow
header flanges are real thick and the coating is
great
dont know about the others

the new pacesetter longtubes are AWESOME...and are going for a really good price from texas speed right now ($400 coated/$300 not coated) ...also, you only have to get the y-pipe if you plan on running single exhaust again....you could always switch to dual though and not run one

ok, lemme get thsi straight.. i only need the headers if i plan on running the stock exhaust? I dont plan on running true duals since i wanna stay somewhat quiet. Its already loud with the dynomax round muffler dumped before the axle kidna the perfect sound I want.
so those headers would bolt right up? Or would the y have to be modded for them to fit?
