Light vibration/shake through steering wheel

my truck had a bent driveshaft and that caused some vibration that I could feel in the steering wheel. It is possible that your problem is the driveshaft, or I have seen u-joints cause this problem as well.

4x4 EC's use one alumium driveshaft, and that would not be the problem if it is felt only in the steering wheel.
So this started just after the new wheels and tire?
What tires do you have?
does it get worse if you are cornering? Bad wheel bearings

Does not get worse in cornering.

have the tires road force balanced. i see amny new tires that are not round due to sitting in a warehouse for some time. a tire can balance out perfectly and still be out of round.

i had the same problem with my 20's. once i took them off the shaking went away. the tire store told me the were a straight set but when i called the wheel manufacturer they told me i must of bent a wheel, total BS they were new. but anyhow as soon as i took them off the shaking would go away. i would see of you can find an old set and mount them on the truck and see if it goes away.

I had the same thing happen to me. The problem was the retainer washer on the stud from the factory. The American Racing wheels didn't have the groove on the back side to go over the retainer, so the wheel never seated flush to the rotor. Once I figured that out the shake was gone.
