Devil welcome and let me commend you on your switch to the Chevy side. Put a magnacharger with heads and a good size cam in that 5.3 and you will eat L's all day long. With less displacment too!!! Its the best feeling to whip their *** and then have them ask you "is that a 6.0??"

Ive got quite a few vidios killing lightnings. I love the 5.3 engines. I just wish I knew then what I know now, I would have done some different mods. Its not hard to pull on lightnings 0-80 with a few of the right mods.

Really, I might know someone who can prove him wrong. I have not lost to a Lightning or Vette yet. Although, I have respect for both.

[QUOTE=devildog92]I will most likely build a forged/built 6.0 down the road, but in the meantime I would like to go heads/cam, etc to get minimum 330rwhp. Please, QUOTE]

Ported 5.3 heads and a Comp 212/218 cam will give you 332rwhp, I have the dyno sheet to prove it. A Comp 212/218 cam in a bone stock 6.0 will give you 351rwhp, I have another dyno sheet to prove it. Add a Procharger and 11lbs of boost.

Good luck and welcome.

Are you serious?!?!?! 332 at the wheels? I guess the HP would be less if you went with a set of stg II LS1/6 heads, but better for the blower application, right? If I went with the ported 5.3 heads, where would be the best place to purchase them, then consequently is there a particular stage that I should look at over another (stg I instead of II, etc)?
